I guess so.
It's a fun game. I rented it one night, and played it with 2 friends, and it was great. I'm gunna buy it when it gets cheaper still $49.99 most places up here (although I think it should have dropped $10 when all the other games got adjusted.
I'm going to go with...
It's a good game in a genre that dosen't know how to be reviewed by reviewers.
Its a game taking place in a carnival, who doesn't like to go to the carnival

Thats abuse! lol
It appeals to the same gamers who enjoyed Wii Sports, Wii Play, Wario, etc. and was executed better than the vast majority of mini game collections.
While it's not a game that will hold up well under review, it's still quick, simple fun appropriate for all ages.
Sadly, the 'standard' for this type of game is pretty low.
And when soccer mom asks for "Wiisport type of game, What else are you supposed to recommend them?
Wiiplay? they probably already have it.
Any other game? Much wose than Carnival.
So, I think the key lesson is, you don't have to be that great a game, you just have to be slightly better than other game of the same genre.
