I'd rather keep the newer paper Marios. As good as TTYD was and as much as I'd love a sequel, I can't deny that I love the unique and individual aspects of each paper mario game (where as basically all M&L games feel the same, just better or worse).

I'm really looking forward to Color Splash.

I mean, aren't all RPG's similar in a way(besides story)?

At least M&L always has a unique feature for every game. Partners in time had the baby mario/Luigi, Bowser's inside story(best game from both franchises IMO) had bowser, Dream team had the ability to enter Luigi's dreams and do cool stuff, and Paper Jam had a combination of paper and real life.

True, and while I enjoyed those unique features, they were small in comparison to the unique features that existed in games like TTYD, Super Paper Mario, and Sticker Star (all three of which were drastically different from one another, yet still hillarious, charmful, and filled with awesome art styles and stories).

Good point.

I still enjoy both series though. Refreshing to play after all the platformers Mario has had throughout the years.

Keep making it, and I say this as someone who holds Sticker Star as one of his most hated games of all time. Some people like it, and just because I don't doesn't give me the right to take it from them.

I would vote remove. I would rather have Nintendo focusing their efforts on a game that is good.

I'm torn between giving one of these two answers. Probably have to side with Megaoverlord since the effort wouldn't necessarily go towards something good.

I'd keep making Paper Mario...
I preferred Sticker Star to Super Paper Mario...
The major change I would make would be to reintroduce a meaningful incentive to fights...

Have a nice day...

While I would normally want Nintendo to focus on making games good, I wouldn't want to see the Paper Mario franchise die out so I would pick option 1

I'll keep it alive. I actually am really warming up to Color Splash. The issue for me with Sticker Star was the fact that there were only Paper Toads as NPCs, with Color Splash we see different NPCs, the V-Team, and a lot of the humor is returning as well, and that's what I missed. The developers also said they're trying to make puzzles a bit easier to understand this time around, which was also a huge issue I had with Sticker Star.

The locales seem very varied and more interesting than any other Paper Mario game I've played ...which is all of them. And of course that comes with graphical prowess of the Wii U that previous consoles didn't have. Still, the game looks great and I can't wait t to play it. It may not return to its former self, but I'm all for progression and trying new things.

If there's no way we're ever going to get another PM game like TTYD, then just shelve it altogether. Even a Super Paper Mario 2 wouldn't suffice, because if they can go ahead and make something like that, then why not just make what the fans REALLY want?

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

That's just it. If I could guarantee that development be shifted to sonething that I know both I and everyone else wanted more, than sure, I would. But there's no way to guarantee that.

Just remove it, sales probably wouldn't be good enough to justify making PM games like Sticker Star.

As do I! Though I hated the second M&L game hardcore, but loved the following three and the first one.
