You're the new director of the Paper Mario series. After the release of 'M&L: Paper jam' and the recent 'Paper Mario Colour splash', Miyamato has held a conference. With both the M&L and Paper Mario team present, Miyamato discusses the future of both franchises. Would you choose:

1. Remove Paper Mario altogether. With the RPG aspects gone, it's useless to still create. M&L: Paper jam could be treated as an experiment of combining the aspects of both Paper Mario and the Mario bros. Instead of just having people from the mario games(as with Paper Jam), it'll be like any other M&L game, having unique(and returned) characters.

2. Keep Paper Mario, but keep it the way it is. It won't be a traditional RPG anymore(if you could even call it an RPG). 

Note: In this hypothetical situation, Nintendo's recent comments on Paper Mario still apply. Due to them wanting to seperate it from M&L, it will most likely never be a traditional RPG ever again. So you can't say "just make Paper Mario like TTYD" and act cool.

I'd rather keep the newer paper Marios. As good as TTYD was and as much as I'd love a sequel, I can't deny that I love the unique and individual aspects of each paper mario game (where as basically all M&L games feel the same, just better or worse).

I'm really looking forward to Color Splash.

If theyre not going to make paper mario the way it started out, they shouldnt call it paper mario anymore.

Even if the mario character in game looks like a paper cut out of mario. The name has a legacy, and if they dont respect that by staying within the genre of the game series, they should think up a new name and concept for whatever mario spin off it is they want to do.

I personally think they should just shelve it and revive it when they actually have a good idea, like Super Paper Mario was(mentioning it here since it is not a traditional Paper Mario), since the newer Paper Mario games suck, to put it simply.And even though Mario and Luigi ARE the superior franchise (Bowser Inside Story is easily the best entry and the best game out of the two franchises), the older Paper Marios were great games, and if they cant achieve that level of quality with the newer ones, they should not bother doing new ones then.

Keep making it, and I say this as someone who holds Sticker Star as one of his most hated games of all time. Some people like it, and just because I don't doesn't give me the right to take it from them. I WOULD however, at least change the battle system so as to not even remind me of TTYD.

I would vote remove. I would rather have Nintendo focusing their efforts on a game that is good.

I vote remove; Although, another slight possibility would be a remake or a sequel for Super Mario RPG is in the works - to differentiate the series.

Between those two, I'd probably just remove.

At least M&L always has a unique feature for every game. Partners in time had the baby mario/Luigi, Bowser's inside story(best game from both franchises IMO) had bowser, Dream team had the ability to enter Luigi's dreams and do cool stuff, and Paper Jam had a combination of paper and real life.

Yea, I'm probably gonna make it a new thread-series. Did several threads for issues with huge companies- I might just stick with making threads like these. More unique(instead of the threads we've seen many times).
