... meral gear. Or Zone of the enders the second runner. Shadow of the colossus . Lords of shadow 1, Mass effect......

so much awesome.

Megaman Zero. The whole series (plus ZX and Advent if you want to add them) are some of the greatest soundtracks ever put on any videogame. Just listen to some of these.

(best final boss theme and fight ever made. Period).

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Edit: For this century make that FFIX or FFX

Picking a soundtrack was too hard so I just decided to give you the best song to ever grace this industry.

Edit: Man just listening to it again has me tearing up

Nothing comes close to Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, Hitman Contracts and Halo.

That's really difficult...but I have to go with Super Mario Galaxy. SO epic.

Final Fantasy IX for 1900-2000
Ace Combat Zero for 2000-2100

Was replaying Ace Combat Zero this days... so good...

If it was based on main themes(Zero vs Liberation of Gracemaria), I might give it to Ace Combat 6 OST , it also is really strong, but zero really made me feel like demon of the round table.

But still not up to SotC, or GoW.

I also want to point so underrated is FF XII OST, it's epic, it's awesome, and I see nobody talking about it.

I think the problem with Final Fantasy XII OST is some of it considered remix version of an existing theme.
