Forums - Gaming - If you won the Euro millions and could revive LoD, what would you do to get what reaction out of BraLoD?

I'd make it better than he ever even imagined.

Add a character creator that let's you design your main character, picking between Human, Winglies, and Gigantos, and then your choice will later influence which Dragoon spirit you bond with, as well as change who some of your companions are, and the opening act of the game. Adding a lot of replay value.

Expand on Dragon summons. Letting you call on them for traversal, and include some interactive monster fights with them. Also add Dragon team up attacks in battles, so that if two or all three of your active party are in dragoon form and have dragons unlocked, and the necessary MP, they can unleash them at the same time for varying degrees of awesomeness.

Make additions even harder on higher difficulties, by moving the target square around on the enemies and making you use the stick up, down, left, or right to keep your moves on point.

Allow you to toggle Dragoon magic for alternate purposes to make them more dynamic, and allow them to play different roles in combat to mix things up. Like your Red Dragoon might have a tier 3 fire spell that can either be a straight damage fire wave you shoot at your enemies, or you could change it to a fire wall that surrounds your party and enemies will take a little damage every time they cross it to attack you.

Basically it would be the best thing ever. BraLoD probably got a little wet just reading this post.

And now he has to live with the knowledge that it'll never ever happen.
Sadly, so do I......

I would make a pachinko game with the most beautiful graphics ever. A recipe for success!

I'll hand it over to Valve, that way BraLoD would have to develop the game by himself and if it's a success Gabe Newell would be the one who gets rich.

Imagine of he did. Imagine if we drove him to creating a remake or sequel where he would spend years and all his wealth on making it happen only for Sony to come in and take it down with a copyright notice lol

If I won euromillions i'd buy the IP and reboot it with FFXIII's Lightning as the protag, and would hide many easter eggs in it that imply how much FFXII sucks
:3

I would totally hire this guy to make it. The video is pure hype.

Someone who takes more than five attempts to beat Darklurker isn't really worthy of having his dream sequel come true.

So nobody would ever have their dream come true then...

I know a bunch of people, myself included, that would.

Immagine the landscape seen at the end of the new GoW trailer but in a far warmer land

Dragons and all kinds of other magical beeings fill this heaven on Earth

suddenly a violet lightning strikes the highest mountain in the land and the sky becomes dark:

Alien spaceships start to exit from a portal and the voice of Jar Jar Binks can be heard by everyone in the Valley

Wizards try to defend their country but it's no use against the lasers of the aliens

moreover, elicopters with the face of Trump and the American flag start landing and 10 years old soldiers exit from them

Their shirts say stuff like "You better replace the L in the acronym of the previous title of this series with a C" or "Germany 7-1 Brazil World Cup 2014"

The only hope for the land relies in a Blacksmith and hisassistant Dart who discovered an ancient weapon called "machinegun"

The two will have to fight in a FPS world filled with sexist jokes and SAO characters to bring back the peace in the land while also looking awesome as f**k while riding always a motorcycle.

A Telltale Game

With the Collaboration of Keiji Inafune

Trials of the Legend of the Bl2od Drag2on: Black Ops 69

80M are spent to make the game and 15M are spent on making the CG trailer described above, the other 5M will misteriously disappear.

Sadly, so do I......

Your dragoon team up attacks comes very close to my addition team up one.
When having said chars battling together too often, they would start building team additions, from 2 to 3 chars at the same time, so for example, the char you are using attacks with X, the second attacks with SQUARE and the last with TRIANGLE, and everyone keeps countering with O.

I would also love to have more complex and longer additions, I know people can have problems even with Gust of Wind Dance, but I'm so damn used to the additions I barely even miss a single one in an entire playthrough (back in the day I could do every Dart, Rose and Lavitz additions with my eyes closed).
Would also love to have more dragoon levels and more strategic based effects on their magics, so turning into dragoon would not become just a choice later in the game, as additions are so powerful that going dragoon is mostly for coolness, status heal and to get a defense boost.

Also liked the idea of making the dragons as vehicles, as we have all kinds of them, this could be pretty nice.

Oh, and make Lloyd a playable character when he is sticking with our group.

But I dislike the characters idea, I want it to keep being FF like, not going WRPG.
Defined characters and story.

Meh...the characters are the weakest part of JRPGs. They're just not very well written (or at the very least not very well translated) to western standards. But LoD had pretty good characters, so I guess I get why you'd w wanna keep them. Personally I'd expect any new game of they ever made one to probably have new characters anyway, which is why I threw that out there.

Maybe Sony can hire us to oversee development of a revival xD
