People here thinking I never play games. Most of this has been earned I'd say in the past 2 years. I hit 10,000 gamerscore back in early 2015, so I think I've done well since.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Or you know, to get more out of a game. Friendly competition with friends or just something extra. As far as i'm concerned its a free add-on, ignore it or not nothing is forcing you to go after them.

Yeah, if I bought games only for GS I'd probably easily have 2 or 3 times my current GS.

Edit: I didn't really evne get into GS until 2013 and evne then it's wained on and off. I kind of just get bursts of wanting to get GS to not caring

Well I'm actually about to unlock 1500 achievements (1495). So I'd say it compares like that (since PS games and Xbox games have the same achievements/trophies).

That's cool--but if you go to a game hub, Xbox One compares EVERYTHING to your friends. His many times you died, how many miles you traveled, how many races you've won, how many missions you've completed--everything!

I compete against friends in ways they don't even expect.

That is cool but for whatever reason, 99% of the time someone brings achievements into the topics, it's about comparing gamerscore which makes me believe, that is the only thing they care due to being easy to get. I don't feel like having high gamerscore is worth bragging about.

So about 10k a year? I remember when I was running the GS league there were times when people would get over 10k in a single month...

Well good for them. Sadly, I just don't have the time (usually) to ramp up huge amounts of gamerscore. I'm aiming for 4,000 this month, though thats only because I have some pretty easy games to play.
