Famitsu don't normally review remakes, so if this review is legitimate, they must be treating this as a straight up port.

PSN - hanafuda

1/ Is this the "real" Famitsu, or the Nintendo branded one? Is this the same magazine that reviews all other Wii/DS titles?

2/ I can't see this being huge, although a budget price point should keep people happy. It should easily sell 400k worldwide. At least 100k (lifetime) in Japan. May do 1m worldwide.

3/ I bought & completed the GC version of RE4 - and enjoyed it very much. If this comes out for a reasonable price, I'll almost certainly be buying it. Wiimote controls should rock this game, extra content, visual enhancements (480p + true 16:9). Also been meaining to replay the game, this is a perfect opportunity to do so!

38/40 is a *very* good score - I can only think of a handful of titles that have scored better than this.

...

Anyone know what RE4 (GC, PS2) scored in Famitsu? (looked around, and all I found was a 10/9/9/10 - 38 - for the GC version as well)

But all it has is waggle! You noobs and your waggle.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

RE5 could easily be a dissapointment as early signs show Capcoms unwillingness to move away from the dead horse they've been beating with their other games. As long as it isn't another Code Veronica I think we will all be spared.

Having missed it on its original release (was still working on RE3), I picked up RE4 for the Gamecube a few months back at $19.99 -- but have yet to crack the shrinkwrap. Something tells me I'm never going to... the Wii edition is going to be a major treat for me now. Can't wait to experience this one.

I haven't played RE4 yet so I'm stoked by this version.

i pre-ordered this and manhunt 2 today...

i dont think there is a need to pre order any of those titles... i am pretty sure there'll be plenty of copies for both!!
