How Do You Feel About The Game?

I haven't got it but enjoy hating it 71 31.00%

I have got it and I'm not keen 32 13.97%

I like it but it could be better 34 14.85%

I like it a lot more than some AAA titles 41 17.90%

I love it and can't stop playing 51 22.27%

Total:229

I'm enjoying it a lot. It's exactly what I expected it to be and on top of that it is a pleasant throwback to classic western RPG's and space exploration games.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

- George Orwell, ‘1984’

It's not a good game. Your average generic survival game with awful procedural generation, the boring planets are ugly as is the wildlife in them, they all sound the same too.

It promises the universe but it's a very limiting game. Go through the same old boring planet with the same stations wih the same alien standing there, just to repeat the process over and over again.

care to give an example what you would consider a good game?

Everything from Naughty Dog, Platinum Games, Yu Suzuki I would consider good.

I play on ps4 too and while I now love the game I wouldn't say it runs fine. I have filed at least 30 error reports so far. Most happen on respawn, reload or simply starting the game. Yet I've also had them while walking around, getting in the ship, opening the inventory page, getting out the ship, picking up stuff or warping to the next system. It is the most unstable console game I have ever played. As long as you don't die it will hold out for a few hours, but it hasn't worked for more than 2.5 hours in a single stretch for me and that was while surviving on a single planet, never leaving nor using the ship.

The framerate is mostly stable though (apart from the occasional hitch). Only once did I have slowdown to 10fps when the sentinels were bugged (stuck somewhere) at a 5 star wanted level. The whole game slowed to a crawl and I had to restart.

My copy is downloaded (no disc) maybe that is better? I have had very few problems with slow fps. I have played at least ten hours in a row with no problems.

My copy is downloaded from the disc, it's identical after the install. I have played over 30 hours and have been stressing the game with many deaths and reloads. It doesn't like that, memory leak probably. My copy has run for many hours in a row too, yet that was staying in the same spot, hanging around the same settlement getting the hours back for the survival milestones through remote play. (lost it at 27 hours due to a bathroom break and instant death loop wiping the restores) But that wasn't really playing the game.
While running around, flying, running, jetpacking through many areas all over the place, it hasn't made the 3 hour mark yet for me without a crash.

Did not spend a single penny and has entertained me a lot. You can guess my vote.

Just like SFZero.

Can't wait for Federation Force!

Good game i have already 45h and still like this a lot.

But there is a lot to improve too like :

- A planetary map, sad to explore leave and come back and cannot see where you have already explore,

- A better galaxy map, god just change the color of the system you already seen so its easy to go back there...

- More building & alien in them

- Some planet with no sentinel or alien

- Some planet with no plutonium etc and make a little less ressource on planet, survive is a litte so easy atm.

- Some small quest from alien for find new life form, i mean they have sentinel who scout the whole world and some time you cannot find last species for over 12h of roaming.

looks like you either need action, story or both to enjoy your gaming experience so the question is why did you ever think no mans sky could be something you would enjoy and in case you never did, why do you think you can judge it?

Yeah, that was before I had enough inventory space to pick up all that stuff. All they pooped was "No space in suit inventory".
I haven't managed to feed any birds yet!

No I dont need those to enjoy my gaming experience, it's those that I enjoy the most though. I can enjoy almost every type of game if it looks good to me. I get a lot of good gaming time out of Battlefield, PES and FFXIV. NMS looked good from the trailers, the things we were promised, and didn't get.

Maybe you should carefully read this long ass multiple thousand word summary of everything missing from the game and the lies that were told for years.
