Yeah, social media probably makes it stand out more like everything else that seems vocal than days of yore.

Sometimes I miss game magazines.

I do too :( Theres just so much vitriol and hate about everything. Its tiresome.

Yep, this game is a good example.

I like the game, not love (haven't played enough to form my own review in my head or be in love).

I was focused on finding words to an alien language earlier and thought to myself "I don't think I'd ever have said, I cant wait till I learn 100 words to a made up language just so I can understand what the heck this trader is saying" but there I was.  Weirdly, I was enjoying it.  Shrugs.

l <---- Do you mean this glitch Gribble?  If not, I'll keep looking.

I didnt buy and wont buy any of them, but if most people agree to something, it's usually for some reason.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Where was the Mirror's Edge hate? Seems to me it was not worse received than the original.

No Man's Sky's problem was that it attached itself to Sony and as such was instantly regarded as AAA instead of a small indie project. If the game came out of nowhere nobody would've cared enough and it would probably even achieve critical acclaim in terms of indie games.

Its another "Consumers are too entitled" thread.

Seriously people have the right to say they don't like the way a PRODUCT companies expect them to CONSUME turned out.

The client is always right.

They damn straight have a right to tell them. But there's a right way to do it.

You forgot Paper Mario: Color Splash, another game that is getting unnecessary hate just based from trailers

How I feel about it depends on the game. Sometimes the complaints are justified and sometimes they are not. I can't really say on most of these games since I don't really know anything about them 1st hand. Star Fox Zero I think deserves some flak because the difficult control scheme.

Either way, I'm not really bothered. Doesn't lessen my enjoyment of the game.... unless it does share problems. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Meanwhile Sean is swimming in an Oceon of cash, people who expected a chilled out space exploration game are happy.

And people like me who were smart enough to wait for a sale and numerous patches to be added are also happy and excited for the game. Especially with a potentially upgraded neo version.

I'd say that had more to do with them charging $60 for a damn indie game. Even I started to expect more when I saw that asking price.
