It's Next Level Games that are developing this. They did state that they developed this game for the 3DS because they were more familiar with the handheld (Luigi's Mansion 2). Whether we like their reasoning or not, it was kinda their choice.
OP: I honestly do wanna try this out. Wanna see where Tanabe is going with this.
