The move controllers are well ahead of any other motion control option in terms of 1:1 tracking..,.

I've heard great things of the HTC Vive's motion control tech.

Have to call BS on the comfort thing. From the reviews I have read, PSVR is the most comfortable of the 3. That's cause it's not just some cheap stretchy strap that the 2 (much) more expensive units are using. Well, were. Seems Sony forced them to come out with something better.

Truth is, these guys are scared to death of the PSVR, so they're reaching for straws. And if Sony adds PC support, look out.

good luck with those waiting lines man, they will certainly be some of the longest at this years GC

No waiting lines for PSVR, I already have 2 appointments: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=8016007

And I already checked the position of the HTC Vive booth, it will be the first booth I go to:

So I'm prepared. ;)

awesome, hope you'll have a good time :)

I think I smell fear. He's afraid psvr could take off a lot more than the others which haven't exactly set the world alight.

Have any of these "set the world alight"?

None of the released VR devices have gf garnered anything close to mass appeal and that's my point.

Thanks to the URL by the way... here is a very interesting article about the adoption of Vive + OR so far... even with a lot of chartz we love so much:

Except a few outliers (most of these are also playable without a VR headset at all like "Subnautica" and "Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes") most VR games have sold less than 30,000 units.

The PS4 was created to compete with the Wii?

He is talking about the tracking. The psmove controllers.

No, it is not. The Valve lighthouse on the HTC vive is way better.

PSVR +MOVE will never be able to do actual room scale vr like the vive.

And that's okay. Not everyone wants to walk blindly around the room when using VR head sets.... and perhaps even hurt myself.

When I saw this promo video for Hover Junkers on Steam, I couldn't take my eyes off the guys' feet and wanted to scream: "Don't fall over the cable!":

I'll prefer the seating position. And maybe Sony will release later additional periphicals for PSVR that will also allow room scale in future PSVR games... for example some tiny cams for the room corners and "PS-Move-controllers 2.0" or "PSVR gloves" or whatever.

Oh boy here we go with the VR wars once more.

When one guy doesn't find it comfortable and tries to mention it not being comfortable for him, then the fires must be lit. Also for pointing out that it's not very high end.

That said PSVR isn't as expensive as the HTC Vive so if course the cheapest product is going to get the most talk or buzz, those that care for high end will talk about that side as well.

It's not some guy, it's an HTC representative and his little voice of criticism contradicts the many consistently positive voices of how comfortable PSVR is. And comfort, as you might not have known, is a very important aspect when it comes to VR.

I find his words rather intriguing. He tried PSVR, but it isn't the image quality and motion sensoring he addresses in detail. No, it's not comfortable and the price is misleading. Wha..!? If the VR experience with a Vive is suppose to be so much better, then why not putting emphasis on this? Maybe because they are not as far apart as some think and Rift/Vive not as high end as some say. He relativises and it tells, yes it does indeed.

Either way, his behavior is very unprofessional and i hope HTC is reacting accordingly.

Yep. Managers that behave like this in public usually have a short lifespan in well-run companies.

Isn't the tracking done by the camera?
