360 version will come out tops but not by much, the main reason will be in the states there is a massive chunk of 11million install base.

 i dont think it will be a 2-1 though but my guess is that 360 version will come out with more sales because of install base

Good points. The PS3 will have a higher attach ratio because of the smaller game library, but I think we have to look at the absolute amount and revenue. Whos going to make Rockstar more money? Easy answer - the 360. Even if it is WW a 1.2:1 ratio (to me thats alot lower than what I think will happen), its a milestone battle to win for MS/360 for brand equity, market share, future prospects etc.. This is what the PS brand was built upon, no?

I'm assuming others will be pretty even.

but thats how sales are going to have to go in NA in order for the 2:1 ratio. (I based my Japan ratio off of DMC's and added a couple considering the user base is growing)

I see it more like this.

1st week 1.29mil 360 vs 890k ps3
2nd week 362k 360 vs 249k ps3
3rd week 176k 360 vs 122k ps3
4th week 146k 360 vs 101k ps3

Ratio = 1.22 to 1. AKA 8.5mil to 6.5mil

ofcourse as a PS3 supporter I hope, that the PS3 version manages to do better than that .. we will see in a month
