We won't know if Z-moves will be overkill until then anyway. Its a one time move. In a six on six battle or double battle, I'm not sure how significant it will be.

I like these new features. I'm glad we're seeing something unique besides the Pokemon. The Alola versions of Vulpix, Sandcrew, and their respective evolutions are pretty awesome. I actually look forward to the new type of challenge in terms of the bosses, per se, instead of gym leaders. It really kinda feels like Hawaii as Hawaii is known for their Chiefs, or konohiki, who ruled their respective divisions of the islands.

Plus I can't see Z-Moves being any greater than 100 power 100 accuracy with no additional effects, and based on how it first surrounds your Pokemon with Z-Power, that makes me think there'll be other uses for Z-Power than just Z-Moves, and if you use your Z-Move you lose out on the other uses. That's just speculation, but they didn't explain the bracelet or the why and what of Z-Power, so there's definitely things about it we don't know still.

Given the series' track record for power creep over the last few generations, I stand by my concerns. Balance isn't at the top of GF's priority list.

What the hell did they do to Executor? And Gumshoos? Really? Gumshoos? I see they're taking away gyms too. Glad I jumped off the Pokemon bandwagon at Diamond and Pearl. This has gotten ridiculous.

Ice Ninetales is so majestic. The new Exeggutor lol XD. I like the new pokemon and those Z-moves look like what would be a limit break/overdrive move in other jrpg's. I like that they're changing the formula of the 8 gym leaders.

And if those leaked starter evolutions are indeed real then I'll choose Rowlet, sorry Litten.

I like the revisions of current pokemon.

Here's more info on why Vulpix, Exeggutor, Sandcrew and others have their respective Alola forms. This is pretty cool as the environment is now a major factor in changing the designs and types of these old Pokemon. Pretty cool, like having a regular bear in the forest and a polar bear in the Arctic.

That's Ohmori's magic Director abilities, he directed ORAS and ended up with a Meh title due to it beeing a remake but now that he can stat from zero an all new get he's going all in !

Oh, wait. What you're saying is that Pokémon had a change of director and this new guy has been behind everything since ORAS?

Well that explains everything.

And by "everything", I mean the absolutely atrocious, pathetic and ridiculous turn this series has taken since.

God I miss the BW/BW2/XY days.

Thought fans wanted Nintendo and Co. to have new blood take over :P

I like the ice forms of Vulpix and it's evolution.

I didn't, no. But I'd be fine with it if it was good new blood.

Pokémon didn't need new blood at all, though. X & Y were amazing.

1. X and Y weren't amazing, it was a massive step backwards for the series and probably the worst generation.

2. How was ORAS ruined?? I never even beat the first gym

No.
