Melania Trump's speech that she gave today at the RNC appears to plagarize large chunks of Michelle Obama's DNC speech from the 2008 Democratic Convention:

Trump can't afford a better speechwriter or did the guy just fall asleep and decide to hand this in? 

I know we always try to make vice President and First ladies, and what they do and say, seem important, but they are almost entirely unimportant and won't have an impact on any of our lives. She could say that we should replace the eagle with a toilet as our national bird and it wouldn't matter.

To be fair, the original speech is pretty generic.

Neither really say much anything in terms of actual policy...pretty typical of your generic political speech :)

Both speeches are horrible...mainly meant to provide a false sense of hope for the mindless.


I recall when real leaders said the truth and never sugar coated anything. Then again, most of the real leaders end up being killed.

It's hilarious, but not even remotely surprising at this point.
