Sheeva from Resident Evil 5. Thank you Sheeva, you just wasted another healing item.

Shame that after making such a well-designed character in Ashley from RE4, Capcom had to slap us with Sheeva's stupidity.

Ashley who has to be protected constatley ?

Sheva is totally fine except for the laser beam level

I know you may want to use the turret on the warthog in Hallo 2 but trust me, you don't want one of those other marines in driver's seat. They are so spectacularly bad that you could almost believe they were Covenant plants to sabotage earth's war effort :P

Oh and Riki. My word I hated Riki. I hate him possibly more than Tatsu cause while Tatsu has worse worst lines, Riki just can't keep his trap shut during serious scenes. Tatsu at least has the courtesy to shut up when needed or at least talk like a normal person at those moments.

I really, reeeeeally hated Yorda from Ico. I missed out on the PS2 so I was psyched when ICO came out for the PS3. I saved the game until I could spend some time and "immerse myself in the experience of ICO," but when I started to play the game, she was unbelievably annoying, helpless, useless, and a complete detriment to literally everything I tried to do. I wish those stupid demon things would've just taken her and I'd go about my business running around and solving puzzles.

I hate you Yorda.

Yes, she's a helpless girl and if you know her gameplay mechanics, which aren't complicated, as well as crowd control, escorting her unscathed shouldn't be too hard.

Let me tell ya, almost nothing else in life feels better than blasting hordes of zombies away with your mighty shotgun as they threaten cute little Ashley. The other great feels come from popping zombie heads and roundhouse kicking crowds, Ashley taking cover behind you. Well done programmers.

The most annoying, glitchy, dumb and almost useless as I remember was my Mass Effect companions.

There can be only one; Sheva from Resident Evil 5, my god was she stupid and annoying, the game would be easier without her. Second place is Dogmeat from Fallout 4, I hate that mutt.

You heartless ... You get your wish later on in the game. She is part of the puzzles!

At least Yorda doesn't actively run into trouble like about any other escort mission I have ever played, or dance around you like Ellie, or teleport around like Elizabeth. Don't think I don't notice you immersion breaking re-appearing behind me antics or infinite supply of ammo you'll only offer up sparringly.

I hated Rico in the Killzone 3. He kept screwing everything up story-wise but, even worse, he kept charging AHEAD OF ME. I hate that so much. I'm the one in command, I make the damn decisions! It was like dealing with a child while you're trying to get something done.

That son of a bitch is one of my most hated characters ever.

@OP: that frog from star fox 64, fucking hell did I hate him.

Bentley from sly cooper. I didn't get three levels past that game because of how much I hated him, his voice and his tone. He was annoying beyond measure.

Whaaaaa, blasphemy! Bentley is awesome.
