Certain people found this annoying for some reason.

KOTOR party members. They'll charge through a trap-filled hallway to start a fight with enemies that haven't spotted us (if they survive the explosions, that is). If that isn't enough, they like to get stuck in places and it's hard to notice it because of the camera. You will however when you want to go to another area and the game asks for all the party members to be together.

Oooooo! That's a good one!

@OP: that frog from star fox 64, fucking hell did I hate him.

Ugh, damn right.

The worst part is, I'm convinced the developers knew how annoying he was, because they made him responsible for displaying the enemy's shield, as an incentive to keep him alive.

Emma Emmerich was a pretty painful companion to escort in Metal Gear Solid 2. Thank god you only have to do it for like thirty minutes.

Oh, yeah, and Dogmeat from Fallout 4. Again, he keeps RUNNING AHEAD of me when I'm trying to be cautious. He fucking opens doors--how, I don't know--alerting the bad guys inside. He also blocks entrance ways constantly. I switch him out as soon as I can.

I have to agree with ya. That awful whining noise he makes when you're sneaking around is extremely annoying.  I have to say that all of the followers in Fallout 4 are idiotic and useless. They won't use the weapons you give them or power armor for long and they constantly bitch about the junk you pick up which have to for crafting. I use Dogmeat because of the lone wanderer perk and he's a decent pack mule.

I did not appreciate the ME2 companions. Stay behind me instead of rush in and die.
Tlou had its problems too. I throw a moletov cocktail from cover to set them on fire. Idiot tag along character thinks that's a sign to start an all out attack and draws the entire burning horde on top of us.
Fallout 4 companions weren't that bad, they usually got stuck somewhere so they wouldn't be in the way while their perk still counted. See you later.

I feel like I'm gonna get a lot of flack for this, but I didn't really like Ellie from the Last of Us. I don't remember if she did anything aside from just follow you around and somehow sneak around while visibly being seen by enemies and not alerting them somehow. I know that would make the game more unnecessarily difficult if she set enemies off, but I found that really immersion breaking. There's no reason why enemies should be treating her like a ghost.

-Sheva Alomar from RE5: because she always gets in your way when you're ready to shoot.

-Ashley Graham from RE4: Did I even need to explain this? (she's cute tho)

-Tatl from Majora's Mask: Well, she's a b*tch! She's like a selfish Midna. She doesn't care about you at first, in fact she mocks and bullies you at the beginning of the game. Then she uses you like a scapegoat so she can return to her old master who dumped her twice already. As the game goes on, she becomes fond of you and all, but I never managed to forgive her as a kid.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won
