My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Wait are you saying Smash is a 2D Platformer or that Smash is more poular than 2D Mario, DK and Kirby??

Well, not necessarily a 2D platformer but a 2D genre nonetheless. Adventure mode in Melee and SSE might as well be a 2D platformer. And it works beautifully with the GC Controller, by far my most preferred controller on the Wii U version.

Edit: Also yes Smash is more popular than DK and Kirby lmao.

It's so god damn comfortable!!!
I'd love it if they went back to that, but I'd be willing to settle for the Wii U Pro Controller too.

I chose SNES because it so rock-solid and for the time it was made, quite versatile. GC was a close second.

None that I remember, not surprising though because the controller was shit for them. Not having a genre on the console doesnt excuse its controller for being bad for said genre when discussing the best controller though.
