One can have the point of view that owning a PC/PS4/NX and no Xbox is the best combo, and not be an ignorant, hypocritical liar. One could also be all three of those things and smell of onions.

Correct. You clearly dont understand my point.

Ok. It's 3:30 am here. I am going to try to go to sleep so I (hopefully) won't be able to respond right away. To what are you referring if not the thread topic?

I have always been a multi-console kind of guy. I loved the original Xbox and the 360 was pretty awesome too up until they went all Kinect crazy. I even owned an Xbox One for awhile since, like I said, I'm into owning all the consoles but... there isn't much left there for me. What made the original Xbox appealing to me was that, along with the brand, it had it's own identity. Xbox stood for something back then. It was where the hardcore went to game. Halo 2 was so far ahead of anything Sony could offer that it was laughable. The console was a total beast as well. No memory cards, broad band only gaming... it was like owning a high end sports car to Sony's low priced Toyota.

But now? Xbox One seems like an afterthought. It feels like one too. It's almost like Microsoft has given up completely and moved on. There's just something empty about the brand now. As if there's no soul left at all.

So for me, I'm done. It was great, but the party's over.

The way Microsoft is going has always been the plan. Ive been saying it for years that Microsoft only cares about spreading their OS on all applicable platforms that have multimedia. If they could not try to get their OS on their competitions platforms they would try to beat them.

If true, it would explain why I feel the way I do lol.

what if you want to buy a console, and you like microsoft published games the most?

Microsoft tried to court Nintendo and Sony and they both flat out told Microsoft no. Its never a good thing to partner with Microsoft because you know exactly what they want.

Then he buys the console.

Intel Core i7 8700K | 32 GB DDR 4 PC 3200 | ROG STRIX Z370-F Gaming | RTX 3090 FE| Crappy Monitor| HTC Vive Pro :3

These kinds of threads are so tiresome, it´s starting to get hilariously embarrising to see some people clinging on to this.. So it´s ok for Sony and Nintendo to release games on two platforms with their own operating system but not for MS?

And people need to start to think rationally here: gamers don´t get consoles for the exclusives, but for convinience and the appearance of a lower entry price. But I guess the OP knows at.

Average gamers only have one gaming device plus eventually Smartphone/tablet as well.

Alot of people dont understand the difference between console only gamers and PC gamers. Sure if your like me who plans on buying a 4k PC setup soon, i know many friends that would pick an Xbox console. Also seems they forget what Xbox means for them and the market. High end PC users are into premium gaming, Xbox is also a house device that plays Blu Ray movies and 4k videos (Slim).

The ignorance of people shooting down Xbox because of Win10 PCs. The day Xbox dies is the same day every one plugs there PCs in there living room. Honestly what a joke haha

Anyway those that hate Xbox but are happy to buy there controllers and software, just remember your still supporting the same people. There games must be in demand if everyone is dieing to play them on PC.
