Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Eiji Aonuma all but confirms Skyward sword HD

'I doubt they would remove all motion controls. However, I do think it is possible they could (don't know if they would) remove the minor tacked on ones and only keep the combat ones and such. That's really my only complaint on the control side there and the main reason I still feel the Metroid Prime 3/Trilogy motion controls are the best example of good use of motion controls.

People use the word "confirm" far too often without knowing what it means.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Too soon. They need to stop with the remasters and focus on new games.

If they redo the entire control scheme, I would consider picking the game up. As it stands, the control scheme was novel on the Wii, but it got really old, really fast doing the same repeated sword swing motions with the Wii remote. Overall the game had several major issues for me, but the annoying motion controls were top of the list.

If they do, that would take out one of the best parts of the game: Fighting enemies who would adjust the orientation of their weapons to block my attacks when they notice how I'm holding my sword
