Still in HK and Singapore ps2 is the most wanted product not DS.

Not sure about Singapore. but it's absolutely incorrect about HK. Go ask anyone who's LIVING in HK

As i said in my previous post, DS is best selling console at the moment, then Wii...

If you talk about 3 years ago, then you are correct

ps2 is still the no1 product there.

i went last in 2007 ,january.

i am not exaggerating figures.

no.1 as what?

Total user base? Probably

Current sales? NO

You only "came" in January so don't argue with me.

Come again and see it yourself. Or go to any HK gaming forum and ask any of us what is the best selling console at the moment.

I can give you links to some of the biggest HK gaming forums if you want.

i have stayed in HK for 3 years between 1996--1999.

i dont have to go to any forum. I know a lot about their prerferences since i stayed there.

you need to go to HK before arguing.

in HK people were more addicted to Arcades than consoles. However preferences have changed since the ps1 era.

ps2 is the best selling console in HK. ps3 is also doing decent over there +singapore.

Care to provide proof of that?  Of course not.  You don't provide proof of anything you spew.

Larry lives by the motto trust but never verify.

Have you been/stayed in Hong Kong recently, as in within the past 6 months?

Reality has a Nintendo bias.

i meant the new ps3 without EE can emulate all ps1/ps2 games.

so theres no need for EE

Could you provide me with a source for this statement please? I've been following this topic rather closely, but I've never heard of the new chips doing anything other than heating less and being cheaper.

I'm rather new here, but it really seems to me like you're in the habit of making completely baseless claims, and ignoring anyone who asks you to justify them. Here's your chance to prove me wrong.

Don't count on it. I wish there was an "ignore user" feature in this forum, which I could use to hide larry's posts... 99% of them are pure garbage, the rest are truthisms...

Remember how Sony said Backwards compatibility would be the standard for the PS2 and beyond, and now they're turned their backs on it so readily. Tsk Tsk.
