I loved the Sonic that come with my Genesis (well actually Altered Beast was the one that was part of it, but my father bought used with more games and Sonic was a bundle at the time) but wouldn't love Alex Kidd the same.

There was a time when I'd get two games per year and I'd have to trade, borrow, or rent to get what I wanted. Sometimes I'd trade up. Sometimes I'd trade waaaay down. I'd play whatever I had, though.

Good old times... I put all the money I got from Xmas and birthday to buy one or two games as well... trading (was a borrow trade that we never unmade kkk) was a monthly thing, besides reuning friends to play each other games and at the time my father would seldomly rent a game for the weekend
