Yes, Sony are just in a league of their own at the moment. Other developers really need to start competing because currently, the only competition Sony developers have is other Sony developers, although that competition is more than enough to push the bounderies of what's possible even further.

Because Sony develops great games that doesn't mean you need to downplay other devs.

It's not 'downplaying', it's a simple fact. It's not my responsibility to ignore facts in order to placate others.

I'd rather invest in a PC. By then FF, The Witcher, and a lot of other games will be ready on PC.

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

It's not a fact. Sony produces great games but that doesn't mean other developers don't produce great games comparable to Sony.

Like I could say. CD Project Red's Witcher III outclasses anything Sony has done first party this gen.

I didn't say other developers don't make great games. They just need to keep up with Sony. Naughty Dog have set new standards and it's clear Sony are expecting other 1st party devs to keep to that standard.

lol doesnt work that way.
The Neo@ 4.2 was only due to the clock they had the rumoured GPU set at. If the use the GPU as designed fully, then they should have at least 5TF of theoretical power available to them. Its no secret what GPU is hoing into the Neo.... question is just a matter of architecture optimazation.
Anyways. None of this is surprising. I even feel this $599 proce point is a controlled leak. Actually that all this is a comtrolled leak. This way, when somy comes and say $499 while everyone is expecting $599 it would seem like they have done someyhing special.
