Forums - Gaming - Legend Of Zelda most talked E3 game on social media

It's the perfect launch game for the nx.

From what I've seen they seem to have met all my hopes and expectations and any concerns I might have had slowly disappeared with the mountains of footage online I've been watching.

The hype shows the value of Nintendo franchises when does right.

No doubt this game looks very exciting.  Just mad at nintendo for taking so long to get it out the door.  I understand that good things take time, but come on now.  This game should have been out this holiday

It's because the dumb NX version. Wish I could be playing this holiday season :°(

Game should have been out in 2015! Sucks we have to wait yet another year for 2017... (and most likey holiday season)

I have a feeling it will be a much better game because it didn't release in 2015. Silver lining!

Someone posted this elsewhere:

Daaaayum! I knew it was the most talked about but didn't realize it just obliterated everyone else. Maybe featuring it on the Treehouse all day was actually a great move.

Also, it can't be good news for CoD that Battlefield appeared to quadruple its social media mentions.

Battlefield 1, Watch Dogs 2, Titanfall 2, FF XV, Mass Effect, CoD IW are getting beaten by a much smaller to boot and declining franchise too ?

Data is most likely garbage in this case ...

Let's not forget that Wonderbook was the only game trending on Twitter when it was announced. Most talked about =/ most popular

It is actually how it works. If someone says, I can't believe Ninty only showed Zelda, that counts as someone talking about Zelda. So, it's both negative and positive comments. You think people wouldn't talk about God of War more if that were the only game Sony announced? Let's be real here.

This is about E3 games, I dont see what Wonderbook has with games that are showed at E3.

ITs not just about Sony, MS and Nintendo fans, its about whole industry, on that list there are around 70-80 games that are shown on E3, and Zelda is game that most people talked about, so its not just about NIntendo fans, not to mentione that Nintendo also showed new Pokemon and look where Pokemon on list is.

Then you should do a google research. Or do you want me to do that for you?

Your argument in the second paragraph is weak as hell. There is a Pokemon game pretty much every year. The 3ds has been getting plenty of games over the years and is a success. Same can't be said about the Wiiu or NX which is danger of being another failure. There hasn't been a new Zelda in a reallly long time and the last one failed to well because of the additional controls it used. Plus, like I said, not everyone mentioning Zelda is doing so under a postive light, same with Wonderbook. Some were mentioning Wonderbook for taking too much time from the conference (in 2012). Others are pointing out how Zelda is the only noteworthy game Ninty showed in such a huge event.

I agree, but also fact is that Zelda is not only game they showed, they showed Pokemon and they showing more games today.

Which is exactly what I said.

Data is most likely garbage in this case ...

I've seen data from Brandwatch (a service anyone can buy I believe) cited before, it's generally reliable and has received great reviews.

In this case their probably not reliable ...

Something is fudging up the sampling process since this data is more representative of what you would find in somewhat more obscure gaming news outlets than the likes of youtube or sites that are in touch with the mainstream console gaming crowd like IGN ...
