I would like to say "indeed", but the idea of a full babysitter simulator is not sitting well with me. It's no longer a day 1 buy for me, but i'm sure i'll get to it eventually.

Not super excited for having the kid the whole time. But I'll wait to see more before I say I down right dislike it.

Everything else sounds cool though.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Will be an aventure like uncharted? or "Semi-Open world"? I though he said (Balrog) about that and was "not open world" but big scale exploration...

In Sony We Trust!

I don't mind the kid that much because during the demo he was kind of out of the way, like he stands away from action doing his thing without messing with your gameplay. That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if this eventually changes and he fights alongside Kratos or something.

Having his son around will allow Kratos to have conversations and show more of himself in a franchise that is all about following Kratos around, with Kratos always at the center of the action and dialogue.

Well I hope they replaced TC Carson because he didn't want to do it any more. His voice IS Kratos and if they threw him over to get a more "famous" voice I would not like that. I'm sure TC Carson can do more than just shouty angry Kratos.

I actually wanted Kratos to stay dead and for GoW to move on with a new character, possibly one of the illegitimate children he fathered while doing one of the sex mini-games in one of the GoW games. Hell, I think having done the deed with Aphrodite in GoW III, and her being one of the few gods he didn't kill that would have been an ideal transition to a child of Kratos solo game.

Not terribly impressed with it being an escort mission. I assume this is intended to be a transition game with the boy taking over as the protagonist in any future games.

The trailer did not feel like God of War, but it may be a good game in its own right. Will just have to see it as a game related to God of War instead.

Why does every Sony exclusive need to have a companion that undergoes cliche emotional changes. We already have The Last of Us for that. I also don't like the hack and slash gameplay being taken out and the over the shoulder camera. Different but bad decisions were made.

If its like in TLOU, I don't mind the kid tagging along.

I like the over-the-shoulder camera brings you right into the brutality and action. Kratos can express more than just one emotion rage. His son will be able to elicit those emotions. I look forward to learning more about Nordic mythology beyond Odin, Valkyries and Beowulf.

Teal'c is Kratos. Awesome
