Horizon looked like TLOU with bigger space and robot dinosaurs.

I mean story driven 3rd person games that are supposed to get us emotionally involved instead of playing a game.

Lol, talk about reaching. I guess every third person game with a bit of shooting or stealth could be a TLOU knockoff with this logic. Hell, might as well put Zelda in the same boat. In what possible way did Horizon's E3 demo show a game trying 'to get us emotionally involved instead of playing a game'?

Oh the leaving her tribe remark. Or the finding out where she came from part. Watch. There's gonna be some heavy acting going on in this game.

I am not saying who won E3, what I will say is that Zelda is hands down without question the best game showed at E3, and it is only on Nintendo consoles.

Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-5643-2927-1984

Animal Crossing NH Dream Address: DA-1078-9916-3261

Nintendo didn't "win" e3, because they're really hardly present at all. Their big announcements and reveals will be at the NX conference, whenever that is.

That said, the new Zelda looks amazing, and to describe it as "just" Windwaker 2.0 is a massive understatement. None of the other games announced or shown off this year can touch it. Hell, %90 of the games this E3 won't even be as good as OG Windwaker, imo.

EDIT: Scratch that! 100%. WW was an incredible game.

Let's just ignore the other 95% of either demo for this game. Gotcha.

Did anyone really say that Nintendo won E3? With just this trailer? O_O

With other games and a real line-up around Zelda, yeah, they could have won. But no, they didn't win anything with just 30s of empty plains and 1 minute of usual open-world activities. It looks good, don't get me wrong, and the game will surely be good too, but the trailer itself is not close to "OMFG" or "Nintendo won E3 with just this". You publish the same trailer with another name telling people it's a promising upcoming indie game and noone is going to notice anything...

Nah. Nintendo won E3 hands down. All the games I saw from Sony were pretty much the same with little tweaks. GoW looked like TLOU with vikings. Horizon looked like TLOU with bigger space and robot dinosaurs. Then there's the biker TLOU with zombies. Its like Sony pointed all their studios at ND and said 'See that? Make more of that!' and we all got cookie cutter 3rd person games as a result.

Spider-man is obviously a TLOU rip-off, am I right? Same goes for Crash, it's obviously just Joel in a bandicoot suit. And Let's not forget about The Last Guardian, I mean it's obviously the same rehased game as TLOU.

And that Batman Vr game, it's obviously about what Joel does during his free time when not running away from zombies.

Sony stop giving me the same rehashed games dammit.

Yeah I agree, all of Sony's games were basically TLOU spin-offs. Heck, even Nintendo's very own Zelda was basically a TLOU spin off. I mean, it looked exactly like TLOU except with an open world, more colours, different gameplay, different setting, different story and different characters. See, pretty much TLOU.

Fans of (insert favorite brand/console) won E3, so technically we all won.

You can justify till you are blue in the face but you will never convince someone who does not share your same opinion that you are right.

I enjoyed what I saw from all three.

That Zelda trailer was sick though!

I am pretty sure I made this joke when you joined, but that was too long ago! The Truth Hurts!

Personally I don't think either fans of the two  other consoles won anything. All Nintendo fans got was some gameplay of a game which should have been released ages ago and another Pokemon game. Won't even start about MS, don't know how anyone who owns an Xbox One would consider themselves a winner.

So yeah technically not all of us won and it's a fact that not all victories are equal in magnitude.

Also what's so fun about avoiding arguments on who won E3. Why even come and give your feedback In a forum if your opinion ks going to be all bubblegum and roses.
