Forums - Gaming - Let's pretend we're not all biased on this site: Nintendo didn't win E3.

Going into E3 I wanted one thing: a beautiful looking Zelda game that'd truly blow me away. Today I got what I wanted, and for that Nintendo won E3 for me personally. I know fully well that Nintendo don't have much else to show and that they simply can't compete when it comes to quantity but I honestly don't care because I've been looking forward to this game for so long and the footage I've seen so far has been absolutely mesmerising. It's so much more than I had expected, and enough to win E3 for me. But that's just me. Call me biased or whatever, I really don't care. In the end we're all biased and that's that.

And seriously, why does it matter so much that some of us are salivating over the new Zelda? From the sounds of it you too got what you wanted. Isn't that enough?

Sony had the volume and a lot of bombs (in a good way), but I think it would be entirely fair to say that Zelda wins Game of Show.

Of course Nintendo didn't win the E3. Overall they had the worst E3 from all.

People lose all sense of objectivity on the internet.

We can't lose what we didn't have to begin with.

You could make a case for any of the three companies to win. That's how opinions work.

One game alone does not sway the balance for me. However awesome the new Zelda looks, which it does and it gets me excited, im hyped for more games from Sony right now.

I've been watching zelda gameplay for like the last half hour. God this game looks so boring. In the entire time I saw him play, he solved one puzzle and fight two enemies. The rest was walking and collecting apples. If this game gets positive reviews, it's due solely to nastalgia.

Wow, just wow, the thing you have to read here are mindblowing.

Watching gameplay can make a game not as interesting as it would if actually playing it.

I wish there was a demo for the game on the eShop.

Horizon looked like TLOU with bigger space and robot dinosaurs.

I mean story driven 3rd person games that are supposed to get us emotionally involved instead of playing a game.

Lol, talk about reaching. I guess every third person game with a bit of story could be a TLOU knockoff with this logic. In what possible way did Horizon's E3 demo show a game trying 'to get us emotionally involved instead of playing a game'?
