Here comes the realism police...
You haven't even played it yet. Many a games were to be awesome until they released. Come back after you beat the game with an argument.

You should try to read the thread before trying to be realistic. Just saying. |
Or you can tell me if you want. Sorry if its been debated/pointed out already. I don't have time to read every page of every10 page + thread.

Do they have a bad track record or something? I have seen quite a few people say this and was just wondering what they meant. I know KZ: Shadowfall scored in the low 70s....which still isn't bad by the game. But I am sure both KZ2 and KZ3 both scored above 80 heck if I remember correctly KZ2 scorbed in the 90s. I even think KZ: Mercenary got a good score if I am not mistaken. So why do people keep saying they don't have the best track record? OT: The game looks great and definitely has me very intrigued so far! |
As someone else said, they're games have been getting progressively worse (although Horizon certainly looks to change that). That's not my concern however. Graphics and gameplay look fine here... but for a single player game, GG don't have the best track record with characters and telling story. That is my main concern over anything else. If track record holds true, you can expect a grpahically amazing game with some cool gameplay set in an expansive world... but the characters will be dull and boring and the story will be equally of the same quality. BUT. That might not be the case (hope for the best). Given this isn't 'Nazi's in space', they already have a better foundation for characters and story. Let's see :)

It is odd the single player in KZ2 lacked while the MP shined. The sinlge player and story in KZ3 was good while the MP fell short of what it used to be lol. I haven't had enough time with Shadowfall yet to judge lol. But if they can get that balance in between 2 and 3 in what they are trying to do with Horizon we may be in for a treat. Time will tell though! Can't wait to try the game for myself either way.

I'm a bit of an odd cookie when it comes to my opinion on Killzone games... I actually thought Shadowfall was the best of the three. I thought 2+3 were quite bombastic and lacked 'breathing' moments whereas Killzone Shadowfall was slower and had moments that made me want to wonder and explore :) Equally, most people found the MP preferable over SP whereas I thought the MP of Killzone was quite boring and barely touched it across any of the games haha. Oh well, each to their own!

The word "may" in the title implies it's a probabilty, something to happen in the future. |
Oh... if that was all you got then its not very good.
Yes, its a may. But it is your claim. I just pointed out that you are getting too excited before proving the cake.

GG hired the guys who created Witcher 3 sidequest so I have high hopes.

A few months ago they hired CD Projekt RED’s Lead Cinematic Artist Pawel Swierczynski and Quest Designer Dennis Zoetebier, and just recently Senior Technical Designer Shadi Dadenji this month.
