Forums - Gaming - [Opinion] Sony pulled NEO from E3 because they realized it would be the weakest of the 3 consoles within a year

As the title says I believe the NEO was planned to be at E3 this year and they pulled the NEO from E3 because they realized it would be the weakest of the 3 consoles within a year with the NX releasing and Scorpio specs leaked.

I think Sony will take more time to release it and beef up the specs */sarcasm* as we all know how important it is to have the strongest console with the best resolution and fps to play the "best version of multiplats".

I never thought the NEO was a good idea at the time it was leaked and rumoured with a 2016 release date as it was to early in the cycle as the PS4 is still selling like crazy and would do without any NEO release.

Of course this is all speculation on the NX specs and an opinion of mine and not actual fact.

Nah, pretty sure the NX is rumoured to be around the power of the standard X1

Weakest of the 3? No. The NX is going to be the weakest by a margin.

I do however think that the 4.5 is going to change from the information that we got earlier.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Actually the rumors are pretty much discordant. At some time it was rumored to be slighly more powerfull than the Ps4. Anyway I don't believe it will compete with Neo and Scorpio.

Well first of all NX will not beat the Neo in power. And second of all is that Sony will probably sell more PS4 Neos than NX and Scorpio combined. I don't see why they would be hiding from their competitors when they have nothing to hide.

And there are rumors that also say otherwise. He does have some reason.

I actually think Sony stole plans for Scorpio from MS too late to create one upgrade to their PS4. Otherwise, why would MS have a system ready before them.

We don't know about NX or Neo so I have no comment. Rumors are always rumors until they've been confirmed. NX could be the most powerful of the 3 for all we know. Although I highly doubt it, let everyone flex first.

or they didn't want to give Nintendo an idea of how strong the Neo would be?

Well first of all we know nothing about Neo and NX power, at least its final specs. And second of all we know for certain that we dont know who will sell more.So I do see why they are hiding from their competitors when this can go either way.
