Another Q1 2017 game...hmm... Anyway, this looks simply stunning. I love the art direction of this game. Wasn't too fond of Banjo but this looks amazing. Definite buy for my NX, I mean Wii U.

Looks fantastic, but at this point I expect the Wii U version to be canned just like with Project Cars and 90s Arcade Racer, and moved to NX.

Yeah, I know, they're doing a song and dance about how its definitely coming to Wii U and how good that version will be, but we've heard that before...

"I literally just had a blast racing around one of our tracks in the rain (the most graphically-intensive weather setting) and it held up pretty damn well. Of course, there are optimizations still to be done, but side-by-side, the Wii U version we have running in the studio is extremely promising."

"There are no plans to abuse that trust when it comes to the Wii U version."

Warms my heart but would be a more tactical choice to release it both on Wii U and NX

Happy to ehar about the PC version being worked on internally, will be looking forward to this week one hopefully.

We also heard that about Fast Racing Neo and there you have it, running gorgeous on the WiiU since December.
You said the same about Zelda and you are gonna be wrong in both cases.

Amazing. Looks fantastic and plays old school. Love it.

3rd parties aren't going to delay their game for Nintendo. They even give the reasons why. Hopefully they fix what I pointed out

They don't have to delay it just for the NX, but if they are going to delay it anyway and the NX is close enough, why not just port it? If the NX is as easy to port as the rumours say, it shouldn't take that much time, and they'd gain a new platform.

They'd gain the platform with the most excited and active audience too. Let's be honest, if I own an NX at launch (which I will), I'm going to want to buy as much software as fast as possible so as to make it feel worth it.

Two major issues with this (backed at $55)

1. WTF is that soundtrack?? I am playing this game on mute if it's 100% bad circus music.

2. More "platforms in SPACE" stuff. Don't copy 3D World's level design, copy Banjo-Kazooie!

1. Have you ever played Banjo Kazooie? That's what the soundtrack was and I am VERY happy it sounds like this in this game.

I would dearly love to be wrong about this, but I still expect both Yooka Laylee and Zelda to be canned for Wii U and shunted to NX.

If I'm wrong, you can make an "I told you so" thread mocking my pessimism, and I'll take it like a man and admit my poor judgement.

This is fine, the Wii U has so many games this year I woulda forgotten about it in the mix anyway.

Oh this looks REALLY good, color me interested.
