Forums - Sony - FF XII HD Remaster (PS4) Teaser Trailer

I'm pretty sure Final Fantasy XIII is a better game than Final Fantasy 3, simply because the later has aged terribly.

They made a DS remake of that though, never played it myself (so can't count it in my rankings) as they never released 3 in the UK until the remake. Might get it some day on steam if it ever falls below £6.

Hmm, pie.

Uhh - whats wrong with FFVIII on Steam?

It requires being connected to the internet in order to be able to play it. A Ps1 game.

Stop acting childish already. You just need to connect to it once, just once!

Something you don't have to do when playing any other FF on Steam.

Sorry, SE crippled my favourite FF on Steam, so I have zero desire of getting any more there.

Played the original game where all players add all the same board. It seems like the zodiac job system might make things more interesting. I will keep a look out. Didn't really enjoy FF XII because it felt like I was playing with the same characters since everyone was learning the same stuff. Might give this a try

Nope, it is the last GOOD Final Fantasy. Great news.

How can it be the last good Final Fantasy when there's also FF XIII and XIV?

You answered your own question. I'd throw XI in there as well, even though it did come before XII.

Nice. So after finishing Arc the Lad, Rogue Galaxy, FF15 and probably Dark Cloud I can play another game from a time when games were actually interesting...

According to my friend I didn't enjoy XII to it's fullest at release so maybe now I can find some more love for it.
Don't know where it went wrong for me, the lousy character(s) or the new battle system. Quite possibly a combination of both.
I am willing to try again!

I rather have FF6(not mobile version) or 9( not remastered)

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

I'm not sure I follow. FF XIII and XIV are great, so your statement back there didn't make any sense.

OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG!
FUCKING SOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One of the greatest games of all time right here

Well I'm sorry if that ends your world - clicking and logging on just once. The reason for it is simple - its to connect to the cloud servers to enable the character booster and to have cloud saves saved directly on Squareenix's online servers so you can load it up incase the PC local save file gets corrupted.

SE didnt cripple your favorite FF - you just chose to opt out of purchasing it for a childish reason.

Again welcome to 2016 - 1996 was 20 years ago.

It doesn't matter the whole world of benefits that would bring having to be connected in order to play a 1999 game. It's the fact that no other Final Fantasy requires it and it still features character boosters and cloud server saving; just not on Square-Enix servers.

So, yeah, I'd call that crippling. They didn't enforce this crap in any other Final Fantasy game on Steam because they know how bad it is.
