Agree with some but not with all either..
2. Wouldn't work out very well to be honest. Is evident when I play during a Japanese Splatfest and it takes quite some time for a room to fill up. Besides, connection actually isn't that bad.. Most of the time, I play with Japanese players and they rarely drop. I do experience lag, but it's not frustrating
4. Better mechanics definitely would be nice, but something like rolling would be annoying.. Would end up like Smash
7. What you are describing just sounds like lag :p
11. Not sure if this would be the best thing to do, since you will still be playing on the same Splatoon servers. If you experience lag at the splatfest (like everyone does), by switching to another online mode won't remedy this
13. There needs to be a balance to maps, can't make it rely on luck. By making a stage too interactive, it will be more luck to win

op. I agree with alot of your list. I partially disagree with voice chat. I think the REAL problem is lack of party chat. In 2016 this is an industry standard. I don't care about talking to strangers, but i should be able to talk to my friends.
I disagree with level design as well. I think all the levels were expertly made. The only reason to change them is if they add different modes. In particular, if you made the stages bigger, they would require a longer time limit than the standard 5 minutes.
Your accuracy thing is lag. I only get it if im running other things on my bandwidth.
But yeah, alot of things you mentioned would be cool though.

1) THE MOST IMPORTANT. More than one freaking arm in a battle.

- Improved match rotation/ selection
- More accurate hit detection on objects - I find it very frustrating when my cursor is pointing into space but the paint is actually being blocked by something close by e.g. Corner of a wall, bump on the ground etc.
-Theoretically I would like increased swimming speed, but I would be concerned with the effect on weapon balance.
- Swimming around corners, on ceilings etc.
- A bigger jump would be nice and slightly improved walking speed.
- Make Splatfest opt in.
- Something to better address latency e.g. option to restrict to regional match - I often get matched with 7 Japanese players and it sometimes feel like I'm in a different time zone to everyone else (I get killed by invisible people and I literally can't land a single shot)
Actually I don't mind and I think there is no need to change most of points from list.
IMO Map creator and 4vs4vs4vs4 mode. :)
I can see all your points... but didn't feel quite so disappointed...
I don't expect all in Splat2 but some in Splat3 too.

Totally agree about party chat. This needs to become standard on Nintendo systems.
They should start by making à good game as an improvement, with à good single player and more content
