I honestly think even if we have nothing advantageous for the gaming community at any point in time I will not be dissapointed. I will always have faith that there are some people out there that are trying to keep it up, and floating. The only problem is that they are dealing with people that are hard to make happy. Many people now adays make it difficult to do anything because they complain about everything, and every game that is made. I will always have faith.

Gaming is getting worse because it doesn't serve people with responsibilities anymore. This isn't how it was in the 70's or 80's, or 90's, at least the first half. 

The issue isn't necessarily the length of the games. It's the slow pace and gameplay being constantly interrupted. I can do something exciting instead of playing boring games. Heck, I could play exciting old games on old systems or Virtual Console. 

No, I can't progress at my own pace, because of the constant interruptions, mandatory triggers, fetch quests and all the shit that's made to break the flow of the game. 

After reading this I finally get where you're coming from. I agree to an extent when you make the statement Nintendo traditionally making good games and others making shit. If you assess that gaming as a whole is getting better because all the shit is getting better, then yes, you could say that. But, frankly, I'm really not interested in the shit, I'm interested only in the good games, and it's the good games that are getting worse. And, I'm not comparing just Nintendo, but Capcom, Konami and others that used to make games that kicked ass.

Me too. Not in gaming, but I've bee losing faith in Nintendo since last year. After Zelda delay, Wii U death, Federation Force, Star Fox and many other things, I'm migrating.

Absolutely. With the critical success of UC4, the gaming media tells easily influenced gamers that story, graphics, and character development are important to gaming. Videogames were developed to challenge reflexes, endurance, and skill - not how many Ps a game has.

I really like what you have write, i am like you but i am a little against company who make very bugged game now, even if i know back in the 80' there was too some game who was bugged as hell ^^

Same, with the exception of lost faith in the competitive arena shooter genre with the enw DOOM MP.
