Well, true it is all supposed to be in good fun. But I'm pretty sure everyone would be bugging us if we lost and didn't change our picture.

I mean, it isn't like some of the people here who guessed 2017 haven't been met with great hostility. 

Oh come on! It was a betting thread, no excuses. You can't just play cards on a casino and claim that you "never said you were committing to the bet". Well, you can try it but is gonna get you banned from the casino at the very least.

I'm going to put things in perspective for all of you, the thread was a betting thread but one that was in good fun, no one is calling for anyone to be banned but to be honest if you're too salty to change your avatar and start making excuses and looking for loopholes it says more about you than anyone else.

I know for certain everyone would hunt down the 2017 mob had they lost, as I said it's all in good fun but don't start nitpicking on the wording or taking things way too serious. It was a lite betting thread hence why I said put your money where your mouth is, it was to see who was willing to stick their neck out on the views they hold.

Don't start harping on about "The OP this and that..." because that's irritating, bottom line is the 2017 mob were right it wouldn't be out this year, I'm even going to change my avi because tbh I would have gone with 2016 myself.

Yeeeeeeah, I'm not changing my avi because I'm lazy and I never knew anything about a bet. Hell, I said it would launch LAST YEAR in my post.

Only those that said "early 2017" are actually correct, those that said "holiday 2017" were more wrong than those that said "holiday 2016". Predicting only the year is a cop-out. Most of the 2017 team, the "holiday" people especially, only won due to technicalities, not because their reasoning was right. 2016's actually was, but 'lost' because someone decided to look at calender years instead of fiscal years. So the way this was set up, you could be right by being wrong and the other way around. Having said that, nowhere is it made clear that people made actual bets, or did they actually agree upon them, I'm with Teeqoz, StarOcean and Rol on that one, so no one's obligated to do anything about their avatar's of any kind.

But yeah, not the best parameters, I wish I knew about it sooner.

For the record, I didn't even post in that thread, so I'm not arguing to try and avoid having to change my avy to a crow.

I'm talking to everyone in general as it's going from a bit of fun to a salty back and fourth.
