Controls is one issue given its emulation. Its possible NX won't even have BC given signs point to new architecture.
Either way, Nintendo should make an effort to have those notable Wii U games available on NX ASAP to bolster the library.

Bolster the library with WiiU games for the people who didnt even want to buy a WiiU to play them?

Well...yeah. XD
One big goal of the NX needs to be to appeal to people who didn't want a Wii U. If they are successful in this and bring in lots of new consumers through NX's hardware and exclusive software, I don't see how giving these same people the opportunity to play select Wii U classics enhanced for NX is a bad thing. And really, a VC release/making them playable through backwards compatibility isn't quite the same thing as releasing enhanched NX versions of the game.
Because really, the WIi U didn't sell badly because it lacked quality software. It had other issues (price, poor marketing, under powered hardware) that saw to that.

Almost everyone I've talked to off the internet has stated that they want Nintendo to port all of the best titles from the Wii U to the NX. A lot of eyes are on the NX and a lot of these people have never owned a Wii U. They very much would like to play the games they missed out on and I can't blame then. Unlike the PS4 and the Xbox One, Nintendo would be selling these "ports" as brand new games to a huge potential market base. It wouldn't feel like Nintendo is "recycling" games like Sony and Microsoft is doing.
Nintendo has an excuse to do this, and a desirable one at that.

They can port some games, but they should leave most of them on a Wii U. Otherwise Wii U owners will be left with a worthless console.

I'm not sure I understand this logic at all. How is this any different from how PS2, PS3, Wii, Wii U, Xbox 360 and (eventually) Xbox One had either full or majority compatibility with their predecessors games?
Personally, I hope NX is fully backwards compatible with Wii, Wii U, and 3DS digital software, and I hope it receives a handful of enhanced ports of major games that won't be getting new releases in a long time, like Smash Bros, Mario Maker, Xenoblade Chronicles X, and Zelda. The prosect of Smash Bros is especially enticing to me, because they could include new content in that port.
