Well, if a new audience is all it takes than Sony has all the right in the world to remaster their games since 40% of PS4 owners never owned a PS3.So based on your reasoning it appears that Sony DOES have an excuse to remaster them.

You are correct. I completely forgot about this. Still the PS3's market share was massive in comparsion to the Wii U.
