Why is it mostly negative?

I haven't tried it but people is clearly disliking it. If you read reviews you can see Doom 4 is very "casualized" compared to previous ones. There are perks and even killstreaks just like in Call of duty. 

It's a fun game though (on consoles at least, haven't tested PC yet). I enjoyed Doom 1+2 as well.

There aren't any killstreaks though? 

Yikes. That's bad. 

Maybe this has more to do with Certain Affinity than id? 

Anyway, I'll test it out for myself when I get home.

I did not even finish playing 1 match before I uninstalled. Just not my type of game.

Okay so finally got to spend a good amount of time with the beta probaly gonna play some more soon after I get off of halo but it is amazing, really can't wait for may. The loadout I've been using is Vortex rifle and lighting gun. Some changes that I think should be made is that they should nerf the super shotgun a bit, not a bunch but it is a little over. Also I seem to get a lot of quick draws when it's like 5-6 seconds after I pulled out the lightning rifle (main strategy is really just vortex rifle full shot then lightning gun but if it's close range always just lightning gun and also try to stay as far away from super shot guns as possible like if you're in a duel against a super shot gun back up and shoot) but it should be more like 2-3 seconds after I get the medal. Besides that it's supa fun so far can't wait for the full release. I got a genocide and it was amazing XD enjoying it a bunch
