Just make Splatoon 2.  The only way I'd be okay with this is if the sequel is a huge improvement and it took a lot more work, if its just more of the same then I'm not.

Developing Splatoon 2 for NX would be a better decision.

I'd buy. But tbh, they really should just focus on making a superb Splatoon 2. You don't need the original when you have the sequel.

They still will xD they just port the first... Though, i would like if Splatoon remain a Wii U exclusives, and i doubt about this rumor too.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if something like this happened, considering how well Splatoon ended up doing.

Obviously, I would hope for a proper sequel instead, but we'll see.

I think the hope that they will actually be a ton of NX users who never owned a Wii U. 

I was just saying this to Ryng on twitter earlier today. But I also said it should be cross-buy, they should show that they valued their supporters during the tough Wii-U gen.
Good, fun multiplayers are important to have, they should secure rocket league for launch too, to have a few different accessible games to play online.
