Lol. That is such a given thing. I read and said myself this would happen. Nintendo needs to recover costs and boost the NX line-up so this is very logical.
In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.

This does not necessarily mean no BC, since the ports could well be a definitive version of Smash and XCX for example, games that would benifit from the extra power and/or getting all DLC in one package.Though yeah, that makes NX having BC harder to believe.
My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

If its true, I hope no one treats it as a negative towards Nintendo since every one and their mamas(third party, sony, microsoft) have been doing this exact same thing
It will be interesting to see what games the decide are ''worthy'' of a port
i cant see myself buying any of them

Probably the most expensive ones (Zelda U, Xenoblade X, Smash U) and the ones that won't really need a sequel (Mario Maker). Nintendo might want to bring both Bayo games too, it would only cost the porting, so it would be cheap.
Pokken, Splatoon and others will definitively get a sequel, so those won't get a port.
I think Splatoon will come early because it was such a big hit in Japan but had its legs cut off completely due to being on the Wii U and Wii U's stock/discontinuation.
They could add new areas and a few new modes I'm sure easily and bump the graphics up a notch to 1080P.

Well she already basically said Zelda is for sure one of them.
It's the other three, but we already had a reliable source say Smash Bros.

I very doubt Nintendo would make Remaster of so many Wii U games if NX have BC, if this is true its almost certain that NX will not have BC.

Yeah Splatoon and Smash, have to be 2 of the other 3.

Had its legs cut off completely?Even with the stock issue, it still keeps selling 8k+,9k+ in Japan alone.Yeah it is certainly selling less because of that, but it still have legs.
The reason why I dont think Splatoon will have a port is because I think NX will have the sequel within the end of the first year, so putting the original on NX dosent make much sense
