This resulted in people on GAF saying “it took me ten hours because I've taken my time with it“ while there was a complete and legit YouTube walkthrough showing everything and showed how short it really is. But the length wasn't the only problem of the order, but one of the issues that most talked about because it was a discussion where one side had facts and the other side had an opinion |
Funny because there is thé same YouTube fact for Quantum Break, i can link you someone who finished thé game in 6h ( counting cinematics and épisodes ), without rushing, but like you said, people have a différent opinion on thé matter, while the fact shows the game can be finished in 6h.

If you rush through QB, I imagine it can be finished in 6 hours. But you would miss alot of upgrades, hidden items, etc. Some of which seems to play a role in the story.
In The Order, you just keep moving foward with little need for exploration and no gain from it. Its a very linear game, combat feels very scripted, no story choices either. So thats where the two differ in content and replay value.
Hence, your first playthrough of QB shouldnt be 6-7 hours because youre skipping a lot in my opinion, its an interesting world to take in. Your first playthrough of The Order should be about 6-7 hours due to lack of content and little to explore.
