It doesn't spoil anything really. Just shows off some gameplay.

We can agree to disagree. Some of them are great, some of them just look bad to me. Especially transitions from climbing to standing, or dropping to standing. Nothing smooth about some of them at all. Since you mentioned it, the gravity and inertia in play with the vehicle is off too. The gas can sways the wrong direction at times, and if its free to sling back and forth when the 4x4 rocks one way or the other, it should fly out at times when the 4x4 takes sudden drops. The characters inside the 4x4 also only seem to be affected by lateral physics.

Just small nitpicking though. As I said, the video is fantastic.

Also I updated the OP, the video has been made private.

Nothing right about what you're saying dude, you're seeing things here. The tank looks like it's being stopped because it's actually secured by a holder on the back of the Jeep. It's actually popping up in the air a bit as the vehicle lands or drops after rising into the air, so no the vehicle isn't just affected by latteral physics.

The can swings left when the vehicle swings the opposite direction and vice versa because that's how it is in real life. Air pressure causes that, along with inertia.

Sony have release the video on their Playstation channel, it looks much better than that leaked footage.

I know how gravity and stuff works in real life, thanks lol. I know it's supposed to swing left when the vehicle turns right. And right when it turns left. But it doesn't do that consistently. Sometimes it even moves around when they are going straight. And it never moves up or down, only left or right. Don't wanna seem like I am harping on something, but you brought it up. Physics are hard to emulate in games and this looks like another one with goofy physics in some spots this year, alongside Division and Quantum Break.

Regarding animations, I'm no more right than you are. Being opinions and all. We can just agree to disagree.

Haha yeah, I noticed the first time they showed the Jeep that the gas tank doesn't move up and down really. It jumps up and down a little, but not as much as it likely would in real life.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Hm do I really want to watch this video is the question though , screw it, watching it anyway.

I've watched it again.. 18mins of perfection

CPU: Ryzen 7950X
GPU: MSI 4090 SUPRIM X 24G
Motherboard: MSI MEG X670E GODLIKE
RAM: CORSAIR DOMINATOR PLATINUM 32GB DDR5
SSD: Kingston FURY Renegade 4TB
Gaming Console: PLAYSTATION 5

Mindblowing graphics for a Ps4, and looks like a pretty good game.

Compared to a launch game, massive upgrade.

No more blurring the background to make it seem more detailed. Sure Infamous was open world, yet at what point do those lines start blurring. I don't think Uncharted 4 loads the whole level in memory either, streaming it as well I assume.
Looks more fun to play too. Infamous was great too yet a bit formulaic.

Am i the only one impressed by the fluidity of dynamic dialogues and the amount of dialogues ? Each tiny part of this vast map has dedicated dialogues

Well, the guy playing knew how to deal with them, where to go and what to do for them to happen, but yeah, of course it's nice!

But there are so damn many things to be impressed with there

Like the mud on tires / windshield... that get washed off when you drive in water?

Like the "real" reflections shown in the car mirrors?

Like the water puddles reflecting the clouds in the sky?

Theres so many little things you never even think about in games, that are just there, and you notice them.

yes thats how it works, nobody cared about third person shooters until gears of war came out despite that resident evil 4 invented it

What on earth are you talking about?  You don't get to redefine history just because you want something to be true.  SOCOM, Max Payne, and Siphon Filter were hits before RE4 or Gears were released.  Stop making stuff up.

The average Majority in gaming will dissagree if you ask them on the streets.

Also far cry isnt a stealth game. Its obvious that only when a huge stealth game like MGS does it people noticed it. So far cry or crysis having it doesnt really matter these games never utilized it

One of the things I loved the most was the open envyronment, and that it has made piece by piece so even if it appears to much for the car to handle there are places and ways to keep getting it with you, it feels both open world and scripted, it's amazing.

Also lovely to see that mountain far behind feeling like a painting, beautiful, but you go actually approaching all the way there without any cut and actually reach it, it appears to be background but it's actually the stage.

I'm really amazed with a whole lot of things on this game, ND doesn't joke around, dammit.

I'm just a bit sad that it will be the last Uncharted from them, I love the serie, and I still can't think about it's the last one; another Studio could stil develop Uncharted5, but it would not be the same thing;

Roughly 5 weeks to go, can't wait !
