Forums - Nintendo - This Community believes that NX is coming around 2088

When will NX launch?

2017 108 45.96%

2018 2 0.85%

2019 1 0.43%

2020 1 0.43%

2021 0 0%

2022 2 0.85%

2023 2 0.85%

2024 3 1.28%

2178 22 9.36%

later than 2178 94 40.00%

I like how those in denial about the 2016 launch seem to think that none of us 2016ers have any shred of information that supports our belief.

I was right about when the current gen machines would launch, several years ahead of when they were even confirmed as devices, and I will be right when the NX (console) launches this year.

I don't understand why people even WANT Wii U not to be replaced until 2017.

It's blatantly obvious that support for the system is dead, what good are 12 extra months of nothing? Have you all forgotten Wii's miserable 2012?

Anyone who thinks that there are still major unannounced games left for Wii U is kidding themselves. Nintendo is not going to invest any more than they have to in a system that will be lucky to make it to 15 million units. Their limited software development resources would be better spent on a fresh start with a new system.

Yeah, it sucks for those of us who were hoping to get a longer life and more games for our Wii Us, but that's the way the wretched world is.

The whole point of april fools is to come up with something that just isn't true; there is no way anyone can for sure say that there will be no NX in 2016. April fools that come true are more like prophecies...

but NX won't come in 2016. That's a fact!

You don't know what fact actually means, do you!?

You can say that NX not coming in 2016. is a fact only when Nintendo say that NX doesn't come in 2016, but actually all points that NX is coming in 2016. (even Nintendo said that NX is part of 2016. finacial year) and you still saying that fact is NX not coming in 2016. I really don't understand you, I never saw this level of denying before.

The Wii U isn't dead. Get your facts right! Iwata confirmed that there will be more Wii U games even after the NX has been launched. I fully expect a new Animak Crossing game and Pikmin 4. The Wii U will most likely sell around 20 million units until its end of life. 2017 will be a good year for Wii U owners. Can't wait for E3 where will most likely get many Wii U announcements and perhaps a small NX teaser.

you can't possibly know this unless you are working for nintendo in some important capacity. Just accept that nintendo has given up on the wii u and wants to start from scratch with a new console.

They haven't given up on the Wii U. We can expect many great games in the future.
