I don't understand why people even WANT Wii U not to be replaced until 2017. It's blatantly obvious that support for the system is dead, what good are 12 extra months of nothing? Have you all forgotten Wii's miserable 2012?
Anyone who thinks that there are still major unannounced games left for Wii U is kidding themselves. Nintendo is not going to invest any more than they have to in a system that will be lucky to make it to 15 million units. Their limited software development resources would be better spent on a fresh start with a new system.
Yeah, it sucks for those of us who were hoping to get a longer life and more games for our Wii Us, but that's the way the wretched world is.

The Wii U isn't dead. Get your facts right! Iwata confirmed that there will be more Wii U games even after the NX has been launched. I fully expect a new Animak Crossing game and Pikmin 4. The Wii U will most likely sell around 20 million units until its end of life. 2017 will be a good year for Wii U owners. Can't wait for E3 where will most likely get many Wii U announcements and perhaps a small NX teaser.

you can't possibly know this unless you are working for nintendo in some important capacity. Just accept that nintendo has given up on the wii u and wants to start from scratch with a new console.
