Mario Kart 8 for me. You can still enjoy it even when your friends are better than you at it(I don't own a Wii U but my friends do). Smash Bros was not as accessible and I got my ass kicked all too often lol.

All the usual suspects, but I have been really enjoying Mario Tennis Ultra Smash. My daughter and I team up on doubles vs CPU in expert mode, its quite challenging and intense. We are hoping to take our partnership online soon with a bit more practice.

For sure, and Rayman should definitely be among the 10 options. In no workd are the games I mentioned any better than Rayman in local Multiplayer.

Mario Kart 8.

I disagree. NSMBU's stages are better balanced for multiplayer than Rayman in my experience, and Sonic's 5 player splitscreen is a trump card.

Smash. I literally have a WhatsApp group called "Smash Bros Party". About once every 5 or 6 weeks, we get a dozen or more guys to congregate at a friend's house (or mine. the host depends on who's available) and we all play Smash Bros and eat snacks for hours. Up to 8 players sometimes. This has been happening in similar iterations since I was 13. Smash is single-highhandedly the game series I've had the most multiplayer gun with in my life.
