Looks good to me with how they have it going from the TV show to the game itself, visual wise that's not a bad job. Gotta hand it to some using U4 as the end all to be all when it comes to visuals and animation.

Can't tell if sarcasm, but neck movement is seriously one of the most underappreaciated parts of emotion animation. Having super realistic facial animations stuck to this neck-shaped unmoving block of silicone is one of the major invokers of uncanny valley.
L.A Noires animation quality overall is crazy good. Unfortunately the tech was not quite there go give the characters more realistic skin.
Uncharted will be the one to beat, imo. So far, The Order 1886, has the best graphics that i've seen this gen.

From 0.35... it genuinely looks like live action. No doubt about it, this is the best motion capture I have seen in a game / cutscene.

It really does seem like you are reaching. The OP clearly gave an exactly example of ingame mechanic that triggered a facial response but then you go out of your way to find something totally not revelant.

They've ignored the game that has the best acting in order to argue QB has the best acting. How the hell is that reaching? You can't talk about this subject without bringing TLOU into it, it's what TLOU is known for and why it's one of the highest rated games of all time.

OT: QB does seem to have good animations. Can't even begin to pretend to know what game has the best facial animations though.

You shoulud absolutely buy it tomorrow, this game is a must play, the atmosphere is so good, so strong. This is the kind of game really immersive.
