Who was the 12 year old who wrote the script? When they did realize that they are fucking up the concept and decided to cut it in a single night? Did the above mentioned 12 year old wrote the "jokes" or for that they hired his inbred cousin? IMO the reviews are generous with this one, as the only saving grace are the VFXs. They somehow managed to screw up even the soundtrack... OP I am really sorry, I can understand if someone takes it as a mindless fun, and hopefully free entertainment, but this was on the same cinematography level as Pacific Rim. This is in no way, shape or form a good cinema experience. |
Fantastic four made eyes bleed, Delgo made eyes bleed. You are being harsh. Or are you saying it is as bad as those movies? You are seriously saying it was that bad.
So for your eyes to bleed you did not enjoy 5 minutes of it. You fo know many enjoyed Pacific Rim right? And a sequel is in the works.
I know, just because a movie is getting a sequel does not mean it was good. But...yeah.

But that is the problem. Fantastic Four was terrible, but I wasnt expecting much. Delgo, I have not seen that one. BvS was big, beautifull but just as dumb and far more of a wasted effort then F4. Any of them. The film suffered from an accute scizofrenia: it tried to continue Nolans tone, to implement Snyders look and copy the humor and pacing of the Marvel movies. What resultad was in my eyes terrible. Yes, I did enjoy it for 5 minutes, while the brawl between B and S went down, but is that all this movie had going for it? The logical lapses are downright insulting for this day and age, and something like this would have been acceptable in the superhero genre in the 70's. The tearjercer scene when Batman almost kills Superman is way past superficially made exploitation and goes to downright that questionable list of one of the worst scenes ever put on film.
This is my unfortunate conclusion. I am picky when it comes to superhero movies, but was all that much to ask for it to be at least on par with Age of Ultron?
I also enjoyed Pacific Rim to an extent. In comparison to BvS, PR was actually fun to watch for the most part, even if it was not a smart movie by any means. Also that was a new IP, compared to Batman and Superman, IPs that have already some standards set before them. This supposed to be the big braketrough for the DC brand to get back the lost crown from Marvel, instead we git this, a movie that rightfully has a lower Rotten rating then Batman Forever. and I would compare it more to the likes of Batman & Robin. I was expecting at least a Nolan level movie, what I got was a Bay movie. Hell, those at least dont take themselves as seriously as thisd one.
So if anyone enjoyed it, good. There is no problem with having a different taste and opinion. This was not meant to insult anyone. If I did so, I am sorry, I just simply wanted this one to work out for me, and I came out from the cinema very disappointed. I still hope it will bring in enough cash to warant a sequel, as I think it needs a retribution.
