i hope that the dc universe is not doomed . They just need to delay justice league , until they find a better director

Marvel's films got better reviwes because they don't pretend to be other thing than a SuperHero movie, at least is that what I think.

But I have to agree with Watchmen case

Well that's what I don't get. Marvel movies are very shallow, just fun. Beyond Winter Soldier they have basically no story.

The only good villain is Loki. If he didn't exist, the thor movies would be even more unwatchable than they already are.

It baffles me how critics seem to always give them such good ratings. You would think they would bash them for being so shallow. Hell the most recent Ant Man was a Iron Man 1 clone with tacked on super offensive stereotypes.

They are actually enjoyable movies that's why and the execution/actuon are the best these type of movies have ever seen. Marvel movies feel like the comics come to life in both characters and directing.

I'm still gonna watch it... but in a few weeks when it's cheaper. How bad is 42% for RT?

It's jsut sad most people blindly trust critics ( who seem to all hate Snyder, when you see the reviews for these 2 cult movies Watchmen and 300 ), thanks to them, all the DCEU ambition will die with this movie, that sucks. Thanks to them, Marvel will be alone on the market and people will continue to think their fmovie are master piece of the genre.

i don't know about you but a lot of people value these 2 things call time and money.

So? What does that have to do with other people liking or disliking a movie?

After the Avengers JL would just be a copycat and there would be no bype for it. TDK trilogy and Superman Returns screwed up the DC Universe as far as movies go. That was their chance to kick start it but Batman was a snooze fesr outside if the Joker and did not connect to the universe, Superman Returns was pointless crap, Green Lantern was garbage and the cancelled the WW movie. Basically DC does not have a plan and are following Marvel's footsteps.

I think they're terrible for the most part. Look at Age of Ultron. I think people have accepted that it's quite bad by now, despite the fresh rating on RT.

or maybe Marvel is just making better movies than DC right now....

if you are talking about Action Movies, then nobody really thinks that. no Marvel Film recieved the praise Mad Max Fury Road got, for example, and thats because everybody knows Mad Max is a better action movie than marvel films.

No, just no.

Will you say that The Avenger is better than Watchmen because it gets higher score ? People start to stop trusting movie critics in the super hero genre

And ? So you will blindly listen to critics telling you what is good and bad and then lose money and time watching bad movies judged excellent by the critics ?

I will say The Avengers is better than Watchmen because Watchmen was a mediocre movie that fell far short of its excellent source material, while The Avengers was a mediocre popcorn movie that at least knew what it wanted to do and never failed to do it.

I am WAY more of a DC guy, and I say unequivocally that the majority of DC movies suck.

Watchmen as a movie is just excellent, you dont judge a movie based on if it's a good adaptation or not ( and in term of adaptation, it far beyond everything Marvel did, especially the pathetic Civil War compared to the comics) .
