The Wii was broken at launch?

no, but it seems your sense of logic is.

Care to explain how the PSVR is "Broken"? reality is you cant, so your claim is just nonesense.

Hey, he's 95% certain it's broken.

I am curious to see more analysis of different games though, and get more feedback on the controls/sensitivity etc...  some of that's going to be really important depending on the game.

im sure he needs to believe that it is.

Just one small thing to add...

The article in question is from Gizmag, NOT Gizmodo.

Yep, you're right, thread title is incorrect.

I wish Sony could just make a DS4 which splits in half, so it can be used for VR. I couldn't stand the Move controllers, on my PS3. It didn't take me long to get rid of them. I guess i'll be waiting a bit on PSVR, now, to see how it plays out, as it looks like i'd only be playing games that didn't need the Move controllers. I was planning on pre-ordering a PSVR bundle, originally.

So looks like the move controllers suck. Not a big deal for me because I never planned on using the move controllers. I just want to use a normal controller. I also don't want to play games that require lots of movement. I want the VR experieince without doing any movement pretty much. I play games to relax. I workout 4 days a week lifting really heavy. I don't need any extra excersise and I refuse to do any extra work just to play a game.

Not sure if you will have a choice.  If both the Vive and Rift will have motion controls, so must the PSVR if they expect game support.  Personally I have been burned by Sony support for the move which I still have the controllers and camera that I am definitely willing to wait for that game or 3 from the PSVR before I pull the trigger or even if I pull the trigger and just get the Vive.

I'm pretty much just going to avoid any games that require that kind of stuff because I don't want to move as it is. We do know that there will be games supporting just the controller so those will be the games I go with.

I wonder if Gizmondo Gizmag will be upset about the PSVR being the bestselling headset, especially when it drops to $249-$299 in a year or so. Also gotta laugh when they say they aren't rooting against it, yet call it broken for poor reasons. No other person that I have watched/read has called it broken. Far from it. They have all basically said that while it's obviously not going to be on par with the options you'll have to pay near twice as much for, it's still a really good experience.

If I had the money and had to make a choice over Oculus, Vive or PSVR, I'd burn the money.

What I don't like about Rift is that it comes with Xbox One controller for $600 but I already have 2 of those. Can I buy the Rift with no controller for say $550?

I think you mean "what i don't like about VR" right? Right? I mean you did make that whole thread about how shitty VR was and all....

Aren't you still afraid of someone molesting your dog because you are disconnected from the world?
