I would be interested in other options, but I still need live sports. There are no options out there that has everything I need at a much lower cost. So, I stick with DirecTV.

Fortunately for me, Vue has all the live sports I would ever need. And it's miles better than what I'm currently getting on cable where I'm at now.

I think most people who even consider using internet services just use YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, etc.

I doubt Playstation Vue is gonna get much traction being exclusive to a few TV devices.

All thsoe services you mentioned dont offer live tv.

i hate dealing with satellite and cable companies, i cut the cord 6 years ago. This is a better option if you don't need the local sports, but i'm still not gonna get it. The thing is the reason so many people are keeping cable is because of those sports channels, and this doesn't change that.
I'm good with my antenna i get around 20 channels for free.

Actually, Vue does have the local sports channels in almost every region. The only one missing is Root Sports (sorry Seatle Mariners fans), otherwise, people can watch their local football, basketball, and baseball on Vue without issue.

If it will appear in my country with good price/offerings, why not ?

When I return to live tv, Vue will be the first service I look at.

What do they have? Just major networks + ESPN? It was my understanding they were lacking some of the FS and NBC offerings. That and I need Root Sports.

I dropped cable tv and satellite ages ago. It's too expensive to justify having it just for a few channels. I use netflix, crunchyroll and redbox for my tv/movie needs. As far as playstation vue, I have yet to really check it out and see what channels it offers but I plan to.

They have all the FS and nabc stuff. and then some.

look at it this way, the ONLY thing they don't have are local free OTA channels in all but around 7/8 markets. but they have everything else. Oh and no HBO.

for the local OTA stuff tho, you can always use an antenna, but even if you don't you still get their content on demand as early as 24hrs after their original airing. you just won't get to see any local live sports they show on them.

We just finished our trial, and are deliberating on whether or not to subscribe. We tried 3 months of Sling TV (gen 2 fire tv was only $25 with 3 months of sling) and honestly Sling Tv is horse shit in comparison.

For $10 more a month you get:
5 vs 1 stream
Website access for channels
"DVR"
Way more channels
Streams that aren't running at 240p 25% of the time.

No since it can only be used on one PS4, PS3, and iPad (last I checked). Need this to work on at least three "boxes" and simultaneously.

It actually also works on Amazon Fire TV, Amazon Fire TV Stick, iPhone, Ipad, and Chromecast via iOS based devices. So, you can stream up to five completely different streams if you have any combonation of those devices.
