Well, I'm still going through my PS3 backlog so I haven't played a lot of other PS4 games. But the MP in KZ:SF was amazing. I was obsessed with that MP - it was that good. So frantic and epic.

Street Fighter 2, FF7, MGS2, COD4, and Destiny are actually NOT the highest selling games of their generation, or even their respective consoles, so that's not a fact.

so granturismo made an higher impact than FF7? it barley sold more and made the lesser impact

Street Fighter II sold more than Super Mario World if you count in the Aracdes and how much money they generated, it vastly outsold Nitendos franchises

http://www.vgchartz.com/gamedb/?name=Street+Fighter+II&publisher=&platform=&genre=&minSales=0&results=200

Destiny sold the most if you count in all the DLC

So now you're trying to count DLC and revenue as game sales?

Those games were not the highest selling games of their respective console generations, simple as that.

You can try and argue they were the most influential, which is highly debateable, but to say they were the highest selling is proveably incorrect.

Oooh man. That's tough honestly. No matter if I were to use your criteria, or one more personal, it would be difficult to narrow a choice down to one game that defines a generation. I like your choices, with the exception of Sonic The Hedgehog. I'll try to get back to this thread later.

Sales and revenue are not the same thing. The games you specified were not the biggest sellers of their respective console generations, so that statement was technically incorrect.

Only after 3rd gen.

3rd - Super Mario Bros 3
4th - Super Mario RPG
5th - Super Mario 64
6th - Super Smash Bros Melee
7th - Super Mario Galaxy 2
8th - Splatoon

Yes i'm a Nintendo fan

My GOG for each gen I played:
SMB3
Mario kart
RE2
DBZ budokai 3
COD MW
The witcher 3

How is that any more objective than anyone else's list?

well i tried to be the most objective despite me hating Destiny and Call of Duty, and never playing FF7. These are the most selling and most played games and the most genre defining games who spread many clones and other similiar games. Not an opinion, fact

But they're not the most selling.
