Rubbish. What next,  Eddie Redmayne would make a great Terminator or Rambo?

These guys look like generic Borderlands/ Guardians of the Galaxy type clowns. Not feeling it one bit.

I'm with you. They look generic, like theyre from the next farcry game. 

Honestly, I'm not feeling it. It's hard seeing these guys doing a three way chainsaw through the last locust in a horde wave. That excess testosterone feel was part of gears of war.

The demo from E3 made the game feel a little more like survival horror which I liked because the Original gave off the same vibe. As for the characters not being ultra buff there were many normal sized male characters in the OG trilogy they could just say that the milatary pumped it's soldiers full of drugs to make them stronger and it would actually make sense story wise.

 

Don't get me wrong, I'm not opposed to the new look, per se. I think it's cool that a lot of time has actually passed, and now we get some more "normal" looking characters. But something just STILL feels off about this to me. I mean, they look like this in the concept art, but we've SEEN gameplay already. We know they are sticking with the "big buff guys in armor" look.

Honestly, I hope Gears 4 is as diverse and interesting as this concept art makes it appear. I was disappointed with Judgment, but these changes, and new development team, could be just what the franchise needs.
